Ein historischer R\u00fcckblick zeigt, dass hier stets ein starker Unabh\u00e4ngigkeitsgeist herrschte, wobei sie in j\u00fcngerer Zeit auch gro\u00dfe Weltoffenheit gezeigt haben. San Sebastian hat zwar gerade mal 200.000 Bewohner, aber die Festivals, Museen, Galerien, Kinos, Theater und Skulpturen locken Kulturliebhaber aus der ganzen Welt an.<\/p>\n<p>Im Jahr 2016 soll San Sebastian mit \u201c<em>Olas de Energia Ciudadana<\/em>\u201d (Wellen der B\u00fcrgerenergie) vibrieren, dem Motto f\u00fcr das Jahr als Europ\u00e4ische Kulturhauptstadt. Das bedeutet, dass die Bewohner die F\u00fchrung \u00fcbernehmen und mehr als 400 kulturelle Aktivit\u00e4ten organisieren werden. Ein Programm voller Spannung, Farbenvielfalt und Spa\u00df.<\/p>\n<p>Es gibt musikalische Open-Air-Veranstaltungen, unabh\u00e4ngige Filmvorf\u00fchrungen und Theaterauff\u00fchrungen und Ausstellungen an so interessanten Orten wie <em>Musikene<\/em>, dem <em>San Telmo-Museum<\/em> oder dem w\u00fcrfelf\u00f6rmigen <em>Kursaal<\/em>. Juli), bei dem K\u00fcnstler wie James Brown, Liza Minnelli und B.B. King aufgetreten sind. Oder das San Telmo-Museum, mit Ausstellungen \u00fcber die regionale Geschichte, mit verschiedenen gastronomischen Highlights in n\u00e4chster N\u00e4he. Oder die atemberaubenden Landschaften, die die Stadt umgeben, wo Sie zahllose Routen zum Wandern und Fahrradfahren finden.<\/p>\n<p>Und dann nat\u00fcrlich das hervorragende Essen.
