Bis 25. Juli wird San Sebasti\u00e1n zum Rythmus der edelsten Jazz-Musik der Welt mitswingen, wie sie es die letzten 50 Jahre getan hat. Das <em>Jazzaldia International Jazz Festival<\/em> ist seit seiner ersten Ausgabe 1966 einen weiten Weg gegangen, als es noch ein internationaler Wettbewerb f\u00fcr Amateur-Musiker mit nur einem Profi-Auftritt (Mickey Baker) war.<\/p>\n<p>Heute hat das Festival einen gro\u03b2artigen Ruf \u00a0und erweiterte sich im Laufe der Zeit von einer einzigen B\u00fchne am Meer zu verschiedenen B\u00fchnen \u00fcber alle Str\u00e4nde, Theater, Pl\u00e4tze und H\u00f6rs\u00e4le der Stadt verteilt. Die Namen der Musiker welche auf diesen B\u00fchnen aufgetreten sind, sind beeindruckend: James Brown, Charles Mingus, Ella Fitzgerald, Dizzy Gillespie, Ray Charles, Miles Davis\u2026 die Liste geht noch weiter. Ausgabe, wird mit Musikern wie unter anderem <em>Diana Krall, Gloria Gaynor, Jan Garbarek, Steve Coleman, Marc Ribot und The Young Philadelphians, Ibrahim Maalouf und Christian Scott<\/em> wieder ein spektakul\u00e4res Programm bieten.<\/p>\n<p>Die Open-Air Konzerte, wie die am Zurriola Strand und auf den Terrassen des Kursaals sind gratis, w\u00e4hrend die Konzerte welche innerhalb des Auditoriums und der Theater stattfinden meistens etwas kosten. Veranstaltungsgeb\u00e4ude sind z.B. der Kursaal, ein moderner Bau mit toller Akkustik oder das jahrhundertealte Victoria Eugenia Theater im italienschen Stil.<\/p>\n<p>Da das <em>Jazzaldia Festival<\/em> mit den Jahren gewachsen ist, haben die Organisatoren es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht alle Altersklassen und Geschmacksrichtungen zu ber\u00fccksichtigen.
