Das Rioja Weinlesefest<\/strong><\/p>\n

Die Fiesta de la Vendimia, <\/em>auch bekannt unter dem Namen La Riojas Weinlesefest<\/em>, welches dieses Jahr vom 16. bis 23. September stattfindet, huldigt San Mateo, den heiligen Stadtpatron von Logro\u00f1o. Die normalerweise friedvolle Stadt von 150.000 Einwohnern explodiert jedes Jahr im sp\u00e4ten September \u00a0w\u00e4hrend einer Woche mit allen m\u00f6glichen Events- von Konzerten zu Feuerwerken, Trapeztanz, traditionellen Auff\u00fchrungen und mehr \u2013 nat\u00fcrlich mit dem Wein als Mittelpunkt.<\/p>\n

Eine der ber\u00fchmtesten Veranstaltungen ist das Traubenstampfen: barfu\u03b2 tanzen junge Leute in traditionellen Roben auf frisch geernteten Weintrauben um den ersten Traubensaft der Saison zu produzieren, welchen sie der Jungfrau von Valvanera darbieten. Und nat\u00fcrlich gibt es bei all den \u00f6rtlichen Weing\u00fctern die stolz ihre edelsten Flaschen \u00f6ffnen, zahlreiche Gelegenheiten f\u00fcr eine Weinprobe.<\/p>\n

Doch Hand in Hand mit dem Probieren der Weine bietet die Region eine Menge Attraktionen in ihrer Natur und Kultur. Zum Beispiel ist da Santo Domingo de la Calzada und seine Kathedrale, oder die Kl\u00f6ster Suso und Yuso, welche von der UNESCO zum Weltkulturerbe erkl\u00e4rt wurden und als Geburtsort der ersten geschriebenen W\u00f6rter der spanischen Sprache gelten.<\/p>\n
