Doch f\u00fcr die alt gesottenen Radler (und heutzutage f\u00fcr die eher weniger alt gesottenen E-Biker) zahlt sich die Zeitersparnis und der Grad der Anstrengung aus.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Stolz (endlich) eine Fahrrad-freundliche Stadt zu sein<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Madrid hatte lange den Ruf ein Alptraum f\u00fcr Fahrradfahrer zu sein; doch seit ein paar Jahren boomt die Fahrrad-Kultur dank verschiedener privater und \u00f6ffentlicher Programme und einem Netzwerk an <strong>Fahrradspuren<\/strong>. Jetzt k\u00f6nnen die Besucher Madrids emblematischste Geb\u00e4ude, Pl\u00e4tze, Parks und den Manzanares-Fluss (falls er dann mal Wasser hat) innerhalb eines Tages sehen, ohne den Fuss in das st\u00e4dtische Metronetz gesetzt zu haben. Die Tour startet beim \u201eLeuchtturm\u201c von Moncloa, einem 92m hohen Turm mit einer Panorama-Aussicht auf die gesamte Stadt und die Berge. Nach passieren unz\u00e4hliger historischer Pl\u00e4tze und herrlicher G\u00e4rten \u2013 den Park des Westens, dem Templo de Debod und dem K\u00f6nigspalast, nur um ein paar zu nennen \u2013 endet sie dann im Retiro Park.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Madrid ist die politische Hauptstadt Spaniens und viele der staatlichen Einrichtungen sind von k\u00fcnstlerischer und architektonischer Wichtigkeit. Dieser Route zu folgen, welche z.B. vorbei am Landwirtschafts-Ministerium, einem Geb\u00e4ude des Architekten <em>Vel\u00e1zquez-Bosco<\/em> mit spektakul\u00e4ren Skulpturen von <em>Agust\u00ed Querol<\/em> auf dem Dach, f\u00fchrt. Danach geht es weiter zum Gesundheits-Ministerium, welches als eines der besten Beispielde der Nachkriegs-Architektur gilt. Die Route f\u00fchrt weiter zum Kongresspalast <em>Las Cortes<\/em>, welcher von zwei L\u00f6wen des Bildhauers <em>Ponciano Ponzano<\/em> besch\u00fctzt wird, die aus geschmolzenen Waffen des Afrika-Kriegs im Jahr 1860 erschaffen wurden.
